Privacy & Discretion

Your home is private. Your information should be too.

Inviting someone to live and work in your home begins with telling us about your life — your routine, your household, your health, your preferences. We treat that information the way we treat everything else about our work: quietly, carefully, and only for the purpose you gave it to us.

This page explains, in plain language, how we handle personal information. The full legal wording is in our Privacy Policy.

What we collect

Only what we need to find the right person

When you enquire as a private client, we ask about your requirements, routine, household and preferences. When you register as a carer or PA, we ask about your experience, availability and background, and you may upload a CV.

We use this information for one purpose: to assess whether a genuine match exists and, where it does, to arrange an introduction. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.

How it's handled

Shared carefully, and only with your knowledge

Your details are seen by the small team managing your search — not circulated, not advertised, not posted anywhere public.

A client's requirements are only discussed with candidates we believe may genuinely fit, and a candidate's profile is only introduced to a client when there's a real prospect of a match. In both cases, sharing happens with your knowledge, and only the information relevant to the introduction is shared.

Consent

You stay in control of what you share

You choose what to tell us. Our forms ask for your consent before anything is submitted, and you can ask us to correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time.

Withdrawing consent is simple: contact us and we'll stop using your information for matching. Some details may need to be retained where the law requires it — if that's ever the case, we'll explain why.

CVs & documents

Your documents stay with us

CVs and supporting documents uploaded by candidates are stored securely and accessed only by the team responsible for screening and matching. They're shared with a prospective client only when we're arranging an introduction — and we'll tell you before that happens.

Discretion in practice

No public advertising. No loose talk.

We never advertise a private client's requirements publicly, and we never identify a client to a candidate (or a candidate to a client) before an introduction is appropriate. Discretion isn't a feature of our service — it's the baseline.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal information we hold about you
  • Provide a copy of that information
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Delete your information, where the law allows
  • Restrict or object to how it's used
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us. We'll respond as promptly as we can, and always within the timeframes set by UK data protection law.

Questions about your privacy?

If anything here is unclear, or you'd like to talk through how your information would be handled before you enquire, we're happy to explain.
